Hillcrest Driving Directions

From North County take 5 South to 805 South to 163 South or from East County take 8 West to 163 South, then:

Take the University Avenue exit (which is 6th Ave when you exit). Turn right on Robinson (2nd light). Turn right at the next block which is 5th Avenue and is one way street. Jet Rhys is on the left side and our salon does sit back from the street. You will notice a black iron gate about mid-block. Walk straight through the courtyard and we are straight ahead on the ground level.

From the Southbay take 5 North to 163 North, then:

Exit Quince. Cross 6th Avenue and make a right on 5th (one way street). Jet Rhys is on the left side and our salon does sit back from the street. You will notice a black iron gate about mid-block. Walk straight through the courtyard and we are straight ahead on the ground level.

From La Jolla, P.B., and Mission Bay take 5 South, then:

Exit Washington and turn left at the light. Follow Washington up the hill. The road forks into Washington and University. Veer right onto University. Turn right on 4th Avenue and make a left on Robinson. Turn left on 5th (one way street). Jet Rhys is on the left side and our salon does sit back from the street. You will notice a black iron gate about mid-block. Walk straight through the courtyard and we are straight ahead on the ground level.

Best Places to Park

Hillcrest is a metered zone and the 2 hour limit is strictly enforced. For peace of mind, we recommend you park in one of the following lots:

Corner of 6th Avenue & Robinson (behind Jamba Juice). Walk over to 5th and turn right; we’re on the left side of the street 1/2 block down.

Union Bank building (underground) on the corner of 5th Avenue and University. Cross back over University; we are on the right side 1/2 block down.

Village Hillcrest Cinemas (underground)on 5th Avenue between University and Washington. You can access this lot from the University exit off the 163 freeway, as well as from 5th Avenue.

4th Avenue between University ∧ Robinson. Walk over to 5th Avenue via the Washington Mutual Bank lot, turn left, we are just a few yards up on the left.

DON’T FORGET TO LOOK FOR THE BLACK IRON GATE. OUR SIGN IS JUST ABOVE IT.

All lots are paid parking, either by attendant or a slot box located on the lot. Be sure to check your space number.

Solana Beach Driving Directions

From South

Take I 5 North, exit Via de la Valle. Turn Left (west) towards the coast. Go approx 1 mi. to Hwy 101, turn Right. We are in the Beachwalk center on your Left about ½ mi. Look for us on the second level above Cupcake Love and Mephisto Shoes.

From North

Take I 5 South, exit Lomas Santa Fe Dr. Turn Right (west) towards coast. Go approx 1mi to Hwy 101 turn Left. We are in the Beachwalk center on your Right about ½ mi. Look for us on the second level above Cupcake Love and Mephisto Shoes.

Parking

The center has parking in front, there is handicap access by driving around and up to the back of the second level. There is also covered parking behind the center accessed by turning on Dahlia Dr. then left on S. Sierra Ave – entrance to parking is a few yards on the left.

We are located on the 2nd floor above Jer’s Chocolates.
