Every time I have tried other salons, they do not come close to this place. Sara does awesome color that does fade or bleed onto towels like I've had at other places (I have my hair dyed almost black). Ricky does amazing bob haircuts and is very detailed and meticulous. I have moved to North Orange County a couple hours away but I still plan to come here when I visit family and friends in San Diego. Plus they sell Bumble and Bumble, the best brand of hair care products (and I've tried tons). Love this place!!

It is the artistic talents and hands of Ricky (cut), Amanda (color), and Zoe (blow dry) that make Pinterest worthy hair. Every time I walk out of Jet Rhys I feel like a million bucks. Worth every penny spent! Thanks guys!

I had another stylist, Ricky. He's from Brazil and he's now taken over my hair styles. As my look has gone a little more "edgy", I needed someone to work with me... Anyone in the salon can accommodate your needs; but, I have a new appreciation for this stylist. Give him a try. You'll love the salon and Ricky. He listens and you'll walk out feeling beautiful.

Every time I come to this incredible salon I am greeted by every single person who helps me with my hair, with a huge welcome! I always leave, looking and feeling beautiful!! And I always feel so cared for! I am so lucky to have the most talented people in the world taking care of me and my hair! Ricky cuts it so precisely and with great texture and Sarah puts in incredible high lights and always blends my hair perfectly with my skin tones. My selfie photo doesn't quite do it total justice! They also give you a great discount if you refer a friend and the friend also gets a discount! Win win, all the way around!

Found out about this place because of a friend. I used to like her and after the referral I like her much more! Lol Ricky takes such a good care of my hair. I seriously get at list one complement everyday! Thank you guys for being so awesome 🙂

Recently wanted to cut 7 inches off my hair, and made an appointment with Ricky. He did an amazing job on my 80's Blondie style bob. Highly recommend this salon to anyone. You won't leave unsatisfied. And did I mention the easy online booking? I literally woke up, decided yesterday was the day I needed to get my haircut, and booked it as I drank my morning coffee.

Ok, I don't have enough words to say how much I love this hair saloon! Everybody is so friendly. I have been their client for 6 years and counting. Ricky has been cutting my hair for the past 5 years and just love how open to suggestions and professional he is. I am a die hard bob style fan and Ricky is beyond amazing. Thank you Ricky!

Had a great experience at Jet Rhys this afternoon. Thank you Ricky for the tips on dealing with my extra fine hair and how to blow dry my bangs to get a cleaner look. The Jet Rhys salon here in Solana Beach is beautifully decorated and everyone has a smile and obviously enjoy working with each other. You really feel cared for when you step inside. Highly recommend Ricky and Jet Rhys.

I've seen a few different colorists at Jet Rhys over the years and have always been happy. Brock and Sam are very talented, I would highly recommend them both. However, I've always had a hard time trusting stylists because I've had my fair share of them cutting off too much, cutting too many layers or too few. I have left many hair appointments at other salons feeling generally unimpressed with the results, and was starting to accept that my long, thin hair will just always look blah. Enter Ricky, amazing stylist and overall wonderful person. I've never had a stylist explain in such detail why he does what he does, what is possible with your hair texture etc. By the time he grabs the scissors, I know exactly what to expect and can relax, knowing I'll get exactly what I want. In addition to being skilled and detail oriented, he is just soooo incredibly nice. Thank you Ricky for restoring my faith in hair stylists!

This was my first time at Jet Rhys. I was extremely nervous because not only was I about to get my hair cut by a new person, but also because I wanted to cut my hair a lot shorter and didn't know how it would turn out. I have always had long hair up to my butt and was ready for a change. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and taken care of right away. All the workers were very nice and made me feel welcomed. Ricky was my hairstylist. Before he began, he made sure I was ready for a drastic change and made suggestions, which made me trust him so I stayed committed with a shorter haircut. Ten inches later...my hair turned out better than I could have imagined and was exactly what I wanted! I'm so glad i came here. Ricky is absolutely great as a hairstylist and a person. I can't wait for my next haircut. As for the environment/ambiance it's exactly how it should be; clean, organized, relaxing, inviting, and everything nice. Thank you Jet Rhys for your excellence, especially in customer service!

I went to Jet Rhys for the first time yesterday. Ricky was fabulous and gave me the short pixie cut I had been unable to get from other hairstylists. I am so glad I found this salon! The cut flatters my face and I am already getting compliments. The salon is professional and welcoming, without being snooty. Prices are reasonable. I was able to get an appointment on short notice. One of the owners, Jet, went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Ricky is an excellent stylist and you can most definitely trust him with a short haircut. Oh, and the shampoo and head massage was incredibly relaxing. Top notch.
